Fall Festival 2020

Saturday November 14, 2020

On Saturday, October 24, we held our annual Fall Festival!

The event looked a little different this year. While we weren’t able to do activities like face painting and cookie decorating, we were fortunate enough to pull off a safe, socially distanced event at the UNC Garden Theatre (pictured right).

Families were able to bring their own chairs and blankets and spread out on the grass, while students performed on the stage.

We also held a Zoom recital for our online students, which gave them the opportunity to perform and listen from the comfort of their own homes.

We heard performances on the keyboard, several string instruments, and from vocalists. Our students wore awesome, creative costumes, which made the show even more entertaining!

We held our annual costume contest on Facebook, asking our followers to vote for their favorite by “liking” the photo. Our winners were Noah M. and Francisco L.! They each received a gift card from Jerri J’s Cakes (previously Batter Up Cakes) in Greeley.

Another perk of performing at the Garden Theatre: students and teachers were able to perform safely distanced duets!

Congratulations to our students for presenting EXCELLENT performances! Keep up the great work!
