Flourish Students Participate in 2020 RCM Exams

Saturday November 7, 2020

This year, twelve Flourish students participated in the prestigious Royal Conservatory of Music exams.

Exams were completed remotely this year, so it was a different experience for our students. We’re proud of them for adapting! We are also proud to announce that ALL twelve students passed with Honors, First Class Honors, or First Class Honors with Distinctions!

Joseph N. (Level 1 Piano) and Kendall W. (Prep A Piano) both earned scores in the highest bracket, First Class Honors with Distinctions.

According to RCM, “This standing is achieved by truly exceptional students who demonstrate complete technical command and perform with a confident, masterful style. This mark identifies that your child clearly demonstrates an authentic, personal spark in their performance.”

Mercy W.
(Level 3 Cello) earned a State Certificate of Excellence AND Regional Gold Medal, and was invited to perform in the virtual Southwest Celebration of Excellence! This is a HUGE honor. We are so proud of her for her hard work and dedication.
