This month, we’re excited to feature Piano student Cassie Davis!
Cassie will be graduating this year and was accepted into the University of Northern Colorado School of Music after auditioning for piano! She is a student of Ms. Nicole and here is what she had to say about Cassie:
“Cassie Davis was just accepted to the UNC School of Music as a piano major! Cassie has been working so hard this year to prepare her audition songs, as well as mastering all her scales and improving her sightreading, in preparation for auditions. I am so proud of Cassie and can’t wait to see where she goes with music!”

How long have you taken piano lessons? I have been taking lessons September
2017.
What do you love about playing music? I love being able to express my inner thoughts and emotions through music.
What is your favorite music to play or listen to? I like to play anything from the baroque period.
Favorite composer? My favorite composer is Mozart.
What do you like about Flourish? I like that it is such a community and is like a second family. I like being able to have multiple recitals a year.
What else do you like to do? I like to play tennis and I love to hang out with friends.
What are you most excited about attending UNC? I am excited for their music program and expanding my knowledge of music.
Anything else you’d like to add? I am so grateful to have been taking lessons here for the last 5 years and so thankful for where it has taken me in life.
