This month, we’re excited to feature piano student Joseph Noce!
Joseph is homeschooled and currently in 7th grade. He studies with Ms. Grace Ann at Flourish, where his two siblings Evelyn and Daniel also take lessons. (You might remember reading about Evelyn in our June 2020 Student Spotlight post!)
Joseph is currently preparing to take the prestigious RCM exam for the third year in a row!

How long have you taken piano lessons?
6 or 7 years.
What do you love about playing piano?
It is fun to play and learn different songs and there is always something you can do to improve.
Ms. Grace Ann tells us that you are preparing to take the RCM exam for the 3rd year in a row! What do you like about the RCM exam? And what are some challenges?
I enjoy the songs that I get to learn in the RCM program. It is challenging to master the music and to learn how to be evaluated as a performer.
What do you like about Flourish?
I enjoy my lessons with Mrs. Grace Ann. She encourages me. The curriculum is nice because it is thorough and varied.
What else do you like to do?
I enjoy practicing martial arts, learning about aerospace, and playing video games.
